A Dog's Dog

Internet retard that I am it has taken me five days to rotate this picture. Please notice, I was at last successful. Anyway Bandit successfully survived his chicken broth fast per my vet's instructions, and is now on his super healthy, super awesome raw food diet. Raw meat (he likes pork and beef best) with some raw grated veggies and and a little bit of whatever is left over from the fridge. We are going to have his fur shiny and lustrous in no time at all.

I forgot to tell you something that my vet said about Bandit when I took him there. He said, "Bandit's a real dog, a dog's dog." And I really liked that.

Things with Bandit are going well. Of course I haven't been there the last couple of days but I am eagerly looking forward to our weekend together. My mom said that Bandit was kind of slow and sleepy during his fast, and very happy to eat once it was over. She took him on a walk, he darted inside, stayed pretty active and hyper for another few minutes and then peed on the downstairs couch. I knew it would happen eventually, and it just further solidifies my suspicion that Bandit urinates inside when he stays hyper for an extended period of time. That's going to be my biggest challenge with this guy I think, teaching him how to stay calm, which is ironic, given that it's ME we are talking about.

Anyway more adventures to come this weekend, stay tuned!!!
